That Cool Ranch Flavor!
Cool Ranch Studio is one half of a creative endeavor that began in January of 2003 in a tiny village in Vermont by husband and wife team Caroline and Mike Saganich. Caroline and Mike and their extremely talented and VERY attractive cat Marvin, left their jobs (a graphic designer and architect respectively) and the bustling metropolis of Somerville, Massachusetts behind in order to start a brand-new life in a crappy 80s-style ranch, nestled in a valley, at the base of Bald Mountain.

While Mike is busy renovating the ranch, designing buildings & additions, running the backhoe, and overseeing the daily operations of the other half of said creative endeavor (Cool Ranch Design & Construction), Caroline has been sporadically pursuing a new hobby. “I love to paint. Mainly ‘cause it’s so messy!”, she was recently quoted as saying. Although trained as a graphic designer and photographer, Caroline has always been attracted to the messiness and freedom of painting. During the past few years she has turned her attention to working in oils and acrylics and since moving to Vermont, has been fortunate to spend a lot more time in her studio (designed and built by said husband) devoting her creative energy to developing her style as a painter. She hopes you enjoy the work.
